Sweet wormwood (Artemisia annua) contains a compound called artemisnin, which is commonly credited with strong G.I. balancing properties. Added to this are a host of traditional ingredients for supporting optimal G.I. flora balance. Black walnut hulls have historically been used to support the G.I. tract during times of stress. Berberine sulphate also has a variety of properties that are beneficial to the G.I. tract.
